I wanted something that felt homey and comfortable, without requiring a ton of maintenance (i.e., no plants that would die if I left them for 10 days. I killed a lot of them experimenting with this before I finally asked my mom for help!) I work from home when I’m not traveling, so it was important to separate work space from sleeping space. No computers allowed in the bedroom!
